Some Home Depot hurricane shutters aren't up to code

By Web Manager

South Florida - A warning for people who bought hurricane shutters last year from Home Depot. The store admits some custom shutters aren't up to South Florida’s strict codes.

People living in Miami Dade and Browed counties who have the shutters will get replacements. Anyone else in the state who had them installed will get a 25-percent refund.

Florida’s Attorney general will contact everyone affected.

If you have questions call the office at 866-966-7226.
