Residents get help with pig problems

By Sarah Pusateri

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Trappers estimate that at least 30 wild hogs are running free behind Pioneer Village. At night they come into residents yards and dig them up.

Three hogs were caught by William Love's company Hog Wild Trapping.

He says, " We love doing it, it's like our hobby. Get out here, catch them..it's like a thrill, a adrenaline rush."

Residents who consider the hogs to be a nuisance and even a danger were relieved to see the traps work.

Sandy Alsop says, "I believe I'll be able to sleep tonight."

Trappers with Hog Wild Trapping say they plan on bringing the hogs home with them, feeding them, giving them shelter and then eventually eating them.
