Baby found dead in Cape Coral home

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - An infant baby was found dead in a Cape Coral home Thursday evening. An officer said the baby appeared to be two to four months old.

Cape Coral police said they don't know if the death is suspicious, but it is being investigated. Cape police said a lot of deaths are investigated.

While the infants body was being removed from the home, an officer told WINK News the parents were at the police station. The medical examiner carried the baby in his arms, wrapped in a white sheet.
