BONITA SPRINGS, FL-Employees at a Bonita Springs ice cream parlor called authorities after noticing a car with California plates had been parked in the parking lot for days.

Investigators confirm Susan Cooper is the person found dead inside that car.

It all happened outside the Royal Scoop Ice Cream Parlor Thursday morning.

Detectives had to break into the car because the doors were locked and the windows were up.

Neighbors were stunned.
