Investigators were very busy on day two of the search for anything connected to the disappearance of Pilar Rodriguez.
The search area is expanding, deputies are now fielding calls from across the country on this case.
They say they'll be here until they find Pilar, and bring her killer to justice.
Investigators once again swarmed the property on Highway 17 focusing on the backyard following what sheriff's officials are calling a very credible tip.
Heavy equipment is being brought in to excavate more land. No stone is being left unturned and every shovel of dirt is being thoroughly examined.
"People have no idea how tedious this is how slow and methodical it is.and everything documented. If they run across a stone they immediately stop and photograph it. In case it develops into something more," said Bob Carpenter, with the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.
As the search for Pilar's remains continues so does the desire for information about the case.
A spokesman for the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office says they are fielding calls from across the state and beyond.
"Outside the state they are starting to call now. CNN has contacted us. We've got two television stations in Kentucky. as the Sheriff said one of the suspects in this is supposed to be in Kentucky," said Carpenter.
While there were no updates today regarding the progress of the investigation, they did say.
"This could last days. I have no idea what the cutoff point would be," said Carpenter.
