Deputies charge 3 with vandalizing Bonita Springs Elementary School

Three young men face charges for vandalizing a Bonita Springs school.

Investigators say the vandals destroyed equipment, turned over desks, and broke windows in at least 20 rooms at Bonita Springs Elementary.

Spray paint was also found inside and outside the building.

The suspects were caught as they tried to run from school grounds when deputies arrived.

Damage is estimated between $50,000 and $100,000.
