FORT MYERS-- Fort Myers Police Officers are searching for a suspect related to a Friday night drug bust.
On Friday the Fort Myers Police Department received a call in reference to numerous marijuana plants in an apartment at 1751-212 Red Cedar Drive at the Gulf Stream Isles apartments.
The Special Investigations Group responded to assist patrol and a search warrant was obtained and conducted at the residence.
Police recovered 218 grams of marijuana, four adult marijuana plants, twelve adolescent marijuana plants, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia used for growing the marijuana and distribution of the marijuana.
A pick-up request has been issued for 54 year old Walter Cole for manufacturing marijuana within 1000 feet of a school.
Also on Friday, FMPD conducted a search warrant at 1105 Sumter Drive.
Police seized crack cocaine and numerous drug paraphernalia used for drug manufacturing and distribution.
Police arrested 21 year old Derek Christmas for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute with 1000’ of a school, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
