Border Dispute

By WINK News

LEE COUNTY--Two Communities in North Lee County want $100,000 dollars of tax payer money. North Olga and Alva want the money to help plan the futures of there communities and to settle a border dispute.

North Olga wants to push the border farther east, about 5 miles east of State Road 31. They say they want to control what happens in there backyards.

Many people want to know why $100,000 is needed for people to hold meetings. Ira Rainer says the towns, "should focus on the big things that would improve our lives and make our children's lives better, and everybody else."

Lee County Commissioners will vote on the issue next week.
