CAPE CORAL, Fla - It was another successful night in Cape Coral at Red, White, and BOOM! Everyone WINK News spoke with was most excited about the fireworks show - especially those who have never been to it before.

"I really like it, I really like it," two young sisters Abby and Jenny said.

Abby and Jenny had a blast at Red, White, and BOOM! It was the family's first time.

"I come out here for the kids and just to have a good time," dad Allen Davidson said.

"I like the bounce houses, and the slide, and cotton candy," the girls said.

Their favorite part was the fireworks.

It's the same for the Fortune family who rode in from Fort Lauderdale.

"We always do something different every year, so we just picked something in Florida to do and this was it," Wendy Fortune said.

Her husband Darnell said, "It's great. The weather's holding up. We're having a good time."

Even though some are working the event, WINK News caught up with one woman who is having fun her first day on the job.

"I love it. It's real good. Squeezing those lemons is fun."

Just because she's not walking like most, she's still keeping in shape making fresh squeezed lemonade.

"You squeeze the lemons and put some ice in, add the water - the sugar water - shake it up and pour it in a glass. It builds your muscles.

Those who keep coming back said the music, food, games, and fireworks are better than ever, and bringing more families out every year.
