A group called the Health Care Freedom Tea Party drew attention to President Obama's health care legislation Thursday. The group carried signs outside the Lee County Justice Center Annex.
They also lined up outside Senator Bill Nelson's office for some face time. The senator wasn't in the Fort Myers office today, so they each spoke with Regional Director Diana McGee. They all felt it was important to express their opposition to President Obama's health care plan.
The same group also planned to visit Congressman Rooney's office in Punta Gorda and will be holding another Tea Party July 4th in Punta Gorda.
