The Lord's of Chaos ring leader and convicted killer Kevin Foster will continue to sit on death row for the foreseeable future. Foster was the ring leader for the gang that killed popular Riverdale High School teacher Mark Schwebes in 1996.
Today his attorney appeared in Lee County court to continue a request for public records from the 1996 case. The records were ordered to be turned over by Judge Volz in March, but the defense says it still doesn't have them.
A jury convicted Foster and sentenced him to death in 1998 and the Florida Supreme Court upheld the conviction in 2000. Foster's attorneys filed a post-conviction motion in the fall of 2001. Attorneys will be back in court September 25th.
Three other men are in prison for the murder. Two of the three are serving life sentences.
