CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Shop all day and wind up with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. That’s the key idea behind a fun event taking place May 9 in South Cape.
        
Called the “Mother’s Day Weekend Flower Walk,” shoppers are invited to visit select gift shops, jewelry stores and clothiers in the South Cape as the search for that perfect gift for their dear mother.
         
At each participating store, shoppers will be given a long stem rose. The roses come in different varieties and by the time you finish your shopping, you will have a fresh, bright bouquet to enjoy the next day on Mother’s Day.
         
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.(or while supply lasts) and stores will be offering discounts and special treats that day.
          
Many of the stores are within walking distance and the FREE South Cape Trolley will provide trolley shuttle service.
