SOUTHWEST FLORIDA - In this economy, businesses are getting creative to attract new customers.
From 6:00a.m. until 2:00p.m. on Tuesday February 3rd., Denny’s is giving free Grand Slam breakfasts throughout the United States to everyone who comes to any of their restaurants.
WINK News went to the Denny's in Cape Coral on Del Prado Boulevard. It was packed! The Denny's staff said they were serving about 110 people an hour!
Denny’s expects to serve up to 2 million of their famous Grand Slams from coast to coast as they introduce the next evolution of their “Real Breakfast” campaign. Millions of eggs and tons of pancakes, sausage, and bacon will be consumed by customers during the eight-hour event.
Denny’s promoted the free Grand Slam breakfast in its first-ever 30-second spot in the third quarter of Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Denny’s says their objective is to rekindle awareness of the real breakfast available at Denny’s and remind viewers of the high-quality, heartiness and good value of the famous Grand Slam breakfast offered at Denny’s.
