CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies say they have arrested Bobby Jo Arrington, 18, of North Fort Myers, in connection with shooting a 17-year-old boy in the foot during an armed robbery on December 23.

The incident occurred at the end of Williams Drive in the southern part of the county near the Lee County line. This is where CCSO deputies have been cracking down on ATV’s, vehicles, motorcycles, and various illegal activities in this problem area.

Arrington was charged with Robbery with a Firearm and Aggravated Battery Using a Deadly Weapon.

The case is still under investigation.

Arrington is being held on no bond.
