CCSO Narcotics raids two Englewood area homes, 7 arrested
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit raided two homes Wednesday morning in the greater Englewood area and arrested seven people on a variety of drug charges.
The first raid at 7:45 a.m. in Grove City was at 6761 Long Moss Lane where four people were arrested on various drug charges. Detectives said they found a loaded shotgun in the bedroom of 22-year-old Patrick Michael Mages. Also found was $1,870 in cash, 163 Oxycodone pills, 14 Methamphetamine and five Subutex pills. Mages is charged with Trafficking in Oxycodone, Possession of Subetex, Possession of MDMA/Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. A father and son were arrested in the home; they were 42-year-old Michael Edward Bruck, and 21-year-old Christopher Michael Bruck. The father was charged with Possession of Oxycodone and his son with Possession of Cocaine. Both were also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The son’s address is 2900 Waterside Dr., Grove City. The fourth person arrested was 34-year-old John Edward Millen. He is charged with Possession of Aripiprazole and Possession of Methylprepnisol. The second drug raid occurred at 11:00 a.m. at 300 Rotonda Blvd. Apt. G, in Rotonda West; the three arrested were a father, mother and daughter. 52-year-old Susan Kimberly Lewis was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Cephalexi. Her daughter 17-year-old Kelsy Nicole Lewis was charged with Possession of Cocaine. Both were charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The husband/father, 59-year-old Victor Paul Lewis was arrested for an outstanding Desoto County warrant for Possession of Marijuana. Kelsy Lewis was released to her sister’s custody since her parents were both arrested. CCSO Narcotics detectives were assisted by CID, Warrants, Community Policing, road patrol and K-9 units.
