EAST NAPLES, Fla. - Neighbors are calling a fire that damaged an East Naples home late Tuesday night suspicious.

Neighbors say they called 911 after seeing smoke and flames at this home on Price Street in East Naples.

The fire department says no one was inside the home, which hasn't been lived in for a few months, but neighbors say someone was there just before the fire broke out.

"They're doing something weird and next thing you know there's a fire five minutes after they leave and they sped off. So it was just a little suspicious," Brittany Moreland says.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but East Naples Firefighters say they believe it started in a back room or the attic, where the fire damage was mainly concentrated.
