15th gang member arrested in MySpace bust

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - The Lee County Sheriff's Office says it has arrested a 15th person in connection to a MySpace bust we told you about on Friday.

29-year-old Elvis Rodriguez is one of 15 other documented gang members accused of using the social networking web-site MySpace to promote their gang.

Detectives say the gang members are facing charges under a new anti-gang law that took effect in Florida on October 1st, making it illegal to use electronic equipment such as MySpace to promote a gang.

Half of the gang members arrested are under the age of 18, the youngest is 14-year-old.
