NAPLES, Fla. - One person is dead and another injured after a shooting on 5th Avenue North in Naples.

Late Sunday night, the Naples Police Department responded to a report of gunfire in the 1300 block of 5th Avenue North.

Upon arrival officers determined two black males had been shot. The identities of the victims have not been released as of this time.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was transported by Collier County EMS to Naples Community Hospital for treatment.

Investigators searched the area by ground and air to locate suspects and potential witnesses. There is no description available at this time of any suspect(s).
