LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Emergency Operations officials are allowing some residents of the Manna Christian RV park to return home.
The residents have been living at the Estero Community Center since they were displaced by Tropical Storm Fay.
Lee County officials say the southwest corner of the park is now safe for residents to return.
"They're going to use this weekend to diligently clean their homes so they can go back and start resuming a normal life," says Al Smyland of the Lee County Red Cross.
Andreas Salinas, a resident of Manna Christian, has been at the shelter for nearly five weeks.
On Friday, Salinas, his wife and their three children will finally go back home.
But, Salinas says they have a lot of work ahead of them.
"We have to clean everything in the mobile home, it's too dirty," says Salinas
The Red Cross is sending residents home with cleaning supplies and bottled water. The RV park is still on a boil-water notice.
