SOUTHWEST FLORIDA - WINK News confirms Gov. Sarah Palin will now speak at Germain Arena on Monday, October 6.

The event has been moved from Alico Arena because of the response from Southwest Floridians. The event is now slated to begin at 1:00pm. The doors will open for general public admission at noon.

Alico Arena holds about 4500 people. Germain can hold more than 7000.

So far, an estimated 6500 free tickets have been handed out to people in Collier, Lee and Charlotte Counties.

Germain Arena is located in Estero. Seating is still first come first serve.
