Florida mom now suspect in daughter's disappearance

By The Associated Press

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Florida officials say an Orlando woman is now officially a suspect in her 3-year-old daughter's disappearance.

The Orange County Sheriff's office says there's no new evidence linking 22-year-old Casey Anthony to Caylee Anthony vanishing. But they say she's been uncooperative and provided suspect information.

Caylee was first reported missing July 15 but her mother told police she hadn't seen her since mid-June.

Investigators say evidence indicates the girl's decomposing body was in her mother's car, but Anthony says she doesn't know what happened.

She hasn't been charged in Caylee's disappearance, though she is charged with child neglect and making false statements.

A message seeking comment was left with an Anthony family spokesman.

Regarding the comment " a mother would not hurt her child", actually there is more evidence now than ever before that young mothers that are unwed have more experiences hitting their children, The frustration of a crying baby, are huge. The frustrations that a crying and unwanted child can make you have are enormous. I do not put it past many mothers that are alone; many women who are alone want to hurt their babies. No one ever talks about this (Susan Jeffers writes about this).

Either way I'm going to pray for Casey. If she is guilty, she will need all our prayers. I cannot believe that a "Mother" would actually want to intentionally harm their child. But mostly, I would love to see the baby found, and justice served.

Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law... Fortunately for her this comment section isnt a courtroom, or she'd be fried! Our opinions stated here have nothing to do with the law books, so as far as I'm concerned, she's guilty. A court may show a person as not guilty, but that doesnt mean they didn't commit the crime as we see time and time again. Sometimes common sense needs to come into play, sorry about your bleeding heart cash. Please keep praying for us sinners like I know you are

so what happened to 'innocent until PROVEN guilty'? or Jesus' admonition about throwing the first stone? Everyone of us would appreciate the protection of this aspect of our justice system if we were accused, justly or unjustly. Is she guilty? Not until proven. The only guilty I see are those who would condemn her without trial.

Only in American can you do something horrible and have more rights then the victim. Victim is harmed or gone and has no voice, the person that commits the crime is still alive and has every law protecting them and their rights. Makes you wonder how that is fair.

I am looking forward to the day that she will be charged with the first degree murder of her child. It is time for her to allow her daughter to be given a proper burial.

I want justice for this little girl so bad. But I hope they dont rush this to trial until they KNOW they have a slam sunk case. Just because we all KNOW she did this, doesnt mean they can prove it without any reasonable doubt in court. PLEASE find her and give her a decent final resting place and collect the evidence to give her a death sentence.

Really? We all know she dissapeared her daugther. We do not have to wait for the official news. Now we are waiting for justice for the little Caylee's

I would like to think that the reason they took so long is because they wanted to have every piece of evidence, and to have a solid slam dunk case against her, she is so obviously guilty, total sociopath. If she gets off, heads will roll. She'd be probably walk in Lee County, we cant keep criminals off the streets to save our lives, literally!
