Burglary suspects on the run captured

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Lee County Sheriff's Deputies are telling WINK News, three suspects in a tire shop burglary have been captured. The three people are accused of stealing tires from a tire shop on Alico Road Sunday morning.

The alleged robbers left their get away vehicle, a box truck, on the side of Treeline Avenue near the Southwest Florida International Airport. The suspects ran away from the vehicle into a wooded area.

Lee County Sheriff Deputies and Highway Patrol Troopers searched for the suspects. The Lee County Sheriff's Office confirms the three people have been captured, but have not released their names as of Sunday afternoon.
