Missing man found In Caloosahatchee River

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The U.S. Coast Guard tells WINK News the body of 60-year-old Stephen G. Nelson, of North Fort Myers, was found floating in the Caloosahatchee River.

The Coast Guards was searching for two-days for the missing man.

A good samaritan located him in the river at about nine Saturday morning. Nelson was reported missing Friday.

A marine unit from the Cape Coral Police Department located Nelson's 25-foot sailboat unmanned and adrift in the Caloosahatchee River. The boat was about one and a half miles from Nelson's home.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the incident.
