FGCU discusses lawsuit involving former coaches

By Melissa Cabral, WINK News

ESTERO, Fla. - An update on the former coaches suing Florida Gulf Coast University.

The Board of Trustees met behind closed doors Friday afternoon to discuss the lawsuit involving former coaches Jaye Flood and Holly Vaughn.

Flood and Vaughn accuse the university of gender discrimination.

Former chief attorney Wendy Morris is also in litigation with the University for discrimination.

The Board of Trustees voted to allow President Wilson Bradshaw and Board of Trustee Chair to make decisions relating to the case.

That's all the University will say at this time because the conversation inside the meeting is confidential.
