Stilwell won't be suspended during inquiry

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - An emergency meeting was held by Lee County Commissioners, and votes were cast in favor to investigate accusations of Don Stilwell's fraud.

The council agreed 3-to-2 to keep Stilwell on the payroll while the investigation is underway, and a unanimous vote was cast that an outside firm will determine whether Stilwell continues his fifteenth year as Lee County Manager.
