By WINK News

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A Fort Myers man has been arrested for having more than 100 alligator eggs.

49-year-old Gerald Clemons collected the eggs from at least 10 different nests, which is against the law. Clemons is also facing drug charges.

Most of the eggs that were recovered were donated to Gatorama, an alligator farm in Palmdale. Three others were saved for evidence and forensic testing.
