Man tossed into boat propeller

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - A safety warning for boaters. Sunday afternoon a man was swimming by his boat near Fort Myers Beach when a large wave came up and threw him into the boat's propeller.

The U.S. Coast Guard tells WINK News the man suffered a four-inch gash near his kidneys.

He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment.

There is no word on the man's name or condition.
