Standoff in East Naples, SWAT on scene

NAPLES, Fla. - At least one person is barricaded in an East Naples house after reports of a shooting and a burglary Friday morning, according to a spokesperson with the Collier County Sheriff's Office.

It's happening on Roseapple Lane, near the intersection of Sabal Palm Road and Collier Blvd.

Officials believe the person in the house could possibly be armed. One person was shot and injured, but authorities are not saying if it is related. Officials say the injuries are not life-threatening.

Neighbors have been evacuated from their homes and stand nearby waiting as deputies continue to negotiate with the person in the house.
