LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Firefighters say a landfill fire at the Stony Brook development in the Gateway Community is now out.

Early this morning, crews responded to the scene to make sure the flames did not spread to any nearby brush.

Officials say the fire wasn't severe and it involved a garbage can.
