Please don't misunderstand my post. No one deserves to be shot. Every one deserve a second chance. My point was that we need to teach our youth other alternatives than hanging with the wrong crowd. As a single mom, I do not judge anyone. I am just saddened that our youth are constantly surrounding themselves with the criminal element. We have to show these kids a better way. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Willie was a "good person" and sometimes good people end up with the wrong crowd. True he may have had a criminal background,but that doesn't make what happened justified. He had a beautiful spirit and a smile that could brighten up any day! We should all be responsible for what we do, killing one another is not the answer. My family has been saden by all that has happened. Not only have I lost a cousin, but I had to witness my 5 year old cousin suffer. This voilence needs to stop. RIP Willie!

TO SAD REALITY. Yes Willie had done somethings in the past that he regreted. Just days before he was shot he spoke with his sister about turning his life around. I agree no one deserves to be shot in the street but we need to start facing reality. According to arrest records this "good person" was arrested for home invasion and false imprisonment. We need to teach our youth self respect and morals. You will become who you surround yourself with. If you surround yourself with the criminal element, you will either end up in prison or dead. Please hold the youth accountable for their choices in life. Morals start at home and in church!

This staring to become crazy.Willie was a good person. I think about many people everyday. Sometimes i sleep on my floor worried about if a bullet going tomcome through my window and hit me. All these situations are just showing one thing, the police arent doing what they are getting paid for. I knew this young man for many years. He was a good person with a wonderful sense of humor. It saddens me greatly that its not safe to walk among your neighborhood anymore without the fear of violence thrown upon you. The world better wake up and realize whats going on.
