CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - Former Senator Connie Mack III was burglarized. Our partner, the Charlotte Sun-Herald is reporting three teens - Joshua James Schmucker, 18, Derek Layton Wise, 19, and Matthew David Marone, 17 - were arrested.

The report says they allegedly burglarized several homes and golf carts on Palm Island. The burglaries were reported Friday night and early Saturday morning.

Deputies increased patrols in the area Saturday night and now the teens were arrested. Reports say the teens are all from Winter Haven.

Didn't know you could burglarize a person. The term would be robbed. However since it appears the story relates to the home of Connie Mack not his person, perhaps, the headline writer needs to review the use of English as a form of written communication!
