FORT MYERS, Fla - Comcast customers in parts of Fort Myers and nearby areas may be seeing problems with their television and Internet services.
Barbara Hagen, the General Manager of the local Comcast branch, says a service upgrade ended-up knocking people off of the Internet and disrupting television service.
Comcast was relocating the frequency of their Internet service in the Fort Myers area. While changing the frequency, a problem with the lines was discovered.
That problem trickled down and caused an additional problem that effected both Internet and television services in the Fort Myers area.
Internet services should have fully returned by Saturday.
Crews are working to return television service to normal. There is no exact time when the television service is expected to fully return.

This explains one particular incident. But, what about the normal, continuous issues with disrupted service, poor customer service and interrupted internet - how do they explain that?

That's just fine with the upgrades but why should we customers have to pay for time we have not received?
