Cape carbon monoxide evacuation

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - This story is out of the Cape.

Firefighters are on the scene of a construction site, where some workers have been sent to the hospital. According to officials, only the workers on the inside were affected, everyone else evacuated safely.

Five workers headed to the hospital being treated for higher than normal carbon monoxide levels at a Cape Coral construction site.

Workers on the scene tell WINK News they were using power saws in a small room, and that triggered the alarm.

All the workers were evacuated, and the building is being aired out.
