FORT MYERS, Fla. - Marcus Hupt says he was shocked to learn of the allegations made against his friend, 27-year-old David Rieser.

Rieser is accused of serving alcohol to minors after a party thrown at his house got out of control. Hupt said, "He can't believe it because now he's being charged with all of these things and he had no idea what was going on."

Hupt says Rieser was never even there. He tells WINK News, the they were both in Central Florida on a hunting trip when they got the call about trouble at home.

Hupt says another friend was house sitting while they were away and he's the one who threw the party. He would not name that friend.

When asked about the stage in the home, Hupt says it was there from a previous party. Even then, he claims, there was never any nudity or oral sex going on in the house as alleged by investigators from the party over the weekend.

Hupt also says Rieser has never served alcohol to a minor. He says the neighbor who came forward about the party never liked Reiser and he does not know why.

WINK News tried to contact Rieser, however our calls were not returned and he was not home when we tried to talk to him.
