UPDATE: Stabbing at Ft. Myers Beach

Lee County, Fla. - A Fort Myers Beach stabbing victim has been identified as Jason Kimble. Authorities say he was stabbed in the abdomen, and is now in stable condition.

The incident started when the victim stopped by a barbeque at his stepfather's house Friday afternoon. An argument ensued, and ended with the stabbing. Kimble was able to make it to the Beach Pub before collapsing.

Kimble's stepfather is being questioned for the crime, but charges have not yet been filed.



Lee County, Fla. - WINK News has learned a man was stabbed on Fort Myers Beach. The victim is a Hispanic male around 30 years of age. He was airlifted to the hospital.

The stabbing occurred at a residence and the victim made his way to the Beach Pub before collapsing.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office says the victim is the stepson of the suspected perpetrator.
