Midpoint Madness Winner on WINK News

By WINK Web Manager

The Midpoint Bridge is now back open after an annual race shut it down for a couple hours Saturday morning.

More than 500 runners took part in the Veteran's Day Midpoint Madness race.

Runners from every age group started at the crest of the bridge, ran for a while, then turned around and headed back down.

The race totaled a bit more than three miles. The event is a fundraiser for the Y.M.C.A.

The winner, John Biffar, finished in just about 16 minutes. Althea Paul talked to him live on WINK News This Morning at 11a.m.
