On February 17, WINK-TV, Fort Myers, FL ended analog broadcasting and began digital-only broadcasting. By June 12, 2009 all TV stations in the United States will have ceased analog broadcasting.

Satellite and cable users continue to receive WINK just as before. But viewers of over the air analog TV still need a digital converter box, available from major electronics retailers.
