NORTH NAPLES, Fla. - Local dealers say they're going full steam ahead with the new "Cash for Clunkers" funding.
Bob Taylor Chevy suspended their program Tuesday, to make sure the extra money passed before making deals that could have ended up in jeopardy.
But, CFO Sandra Taylor says they'll be back on the program first thing Friday morning, and they'll stay on it until the money runs out again.
"Its been good for the factories. Its been good for the dealers and its gonna be good for revenues - state revenues are gonna benefit you know we can all use that little boost in economy," Taylor says.
The government has said the two billion dollar extension should last through Labor Day. Taylor says that may be a stretch, but we'll just have to wait and see.
