The following recalls have been announced:

-About 987,000 Dirt Devil vacuum power brush attachment tools, manufactured in China by TTI Floor Care North America, because plastic pieces can break and be ejected from the vacuum. The company has received 140 reports of incidents, including 12 reports of injuries. The vacuums were sold at mass merchandise, home improvement and other stores around the country between April 2007 and April 2008. -About 19,000 Bright Starts ring rattles, manufactured in China and distributed by Kids II Inc., because the tip of the rattle's antenna can detach. This puts children at risk of choking. The company has received two reports of antenna tips detaching, but no reports of injuries. The rattles were sold by toy stores and other retailers around the country between January and June 2008. -About 8,600 Santorini chairs, manufactured in Taiwan by Cost Plus Inc., because the chairs can collapse. The company has received four reports of incidents, but no reports of injuries. The chairs were sold at Cost Plus and World Market stores around the country between January and April 2008. -About 91,500 classic horseshoe magnets, manufactured in China by Dowling Magnets, because the plastic coating contains high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children. No injuries have been reported. The magnets were sold by specialty stores and educational supply distributors around the country between March 2003 and April 2008. -About 40,000, U-shaped magnets, bar magnets, magnet sets and magnet needle sets, manufactured in China and imported by Pacific Science Supplies Inc., because the paint contains high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by children. No injuries have been reported. The magnets were sold by educational distributors and through educational stores around the country between April 2000 and February 2008. -About 20,000 Reebok studio exercise cycles, manufactured in the United States by Fitness Associates Incorporated, under license from Reebok International Ltd., because the cranks can break. Reebok has received five reports of broken cranks resulting in cuts, including three injuries that required stitches.
