UPDATE: Softcore porn on your child's cell phone?

By WINK News

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Here's another reason to keep an eye on what you're buying for the kids on your holiday shopping list: WINK News found a cell phone stripper easily available on a product considered popular with the younger crowd!

"Sexy Poker" is a free demonstration game easily found on a Virgin Mobile pay-as-you go phone. It's the first game to pop up under one of the demo categories on the $40 "Super Slice" model, though the packaging gives no indication.

"There's no notation or anything on the box, it's insanity," was one woman's reaction.

The demo version gives users 90 seconds to sample a game where a female character makes suggestive statements and strips off her clothes when she loses.

The New York Times recently reviewed the similar "Wild Card" model-- with the same game demo available-- saying its targeted for the "younger set."

Some teens we talked to say while perhaps inappropriate for younger kids, it's also not really unusual in today's entertainment environment.

"I'm not surprised by that, I think that it's becoming a lot more acceptable now for kids to be exposed to that."

Sexy Poker is only the beginning, however. Virgin Mobile's website features several other adult-themed games available for download.

"All our video games have warnings on them our cell phones should as well."

It's pretty easy to buy the full version with just a few button pushes and stocked-up pre-paid account. There is no full nudity, even with the full game.

WINK News left a message with Virgin Mobile USA for comment, but so far have not received a call back.
