Southwest Florida Military Museum and Library (Credit: WINK News) The Southwest Florida Military Museum and Library has a new home. It will take over a storefront at the Edison Mall in Fort Myers. No timeline or exact location has been confirmed. This weekend, the museum will be selling off a number of its items to downsize for its new location. The museum took a financial hit during the pandemic and could no longer afford the rent at its Cape Coral location on Leonard Street, where it had been since 2012.
