Better Together hosting Parents’ Night Out in Golden Gate on Friday

On Friday night, there’s a chance for parents to unwind in Collier County, where Better Together is hosting Parents’ Night Out at the Golden Gate Community Center.

It’s a chance for someone else to watch your kids so you can go out on a date or take off to run some errands. The organization Better Together knows it takes a village to raise a child and wants to make it easier for families to stay strong together by offering babysitting services.

“They are able to have their children come stay with us; they will be hosted by our background-checked volunteers, so they will be fed dinner, we’ll have games and other activities for them, and during that time parents are able to do whatever they want,” said Sydney Esquibel with Better Together.

Parents’ Night Out is 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Golden Gate Community Center, located at 4701 Golden Gate Parkway. To register, visit the Better Together website.
