Biography
Kristen Skovira joined the WINK NEWS team in May 2012.

A love of TV news runs in Kristen's family. She and her two sisters
grew up watching their mom on Denver's KWGN for 20 years.

Kristen came to WINK from KGWN, the CBS affiliate in Cheyenne, Wyoming
where she produced and anchored the weekday morning news.

An avid film buff, she followed her passion for movies and television
to Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in
Orange, California with a B.A. in Public Relations and Advertising and
an emphasis in Entertainment Marketing.

Before working in front of the camera, she spent time behind the
scenes in National Publicity for Walt Disney Studios in Burbank,
California. There she helped organize and execute red carpet events,
movie premiers and Hollywood junkets.

A Colorado native, she's happy to take a break from cold temperatures
and trade in her snowboard and Rocky Mountains for jetskis and palm
trees.

When she's not reporting, Kristen enjoys drawing and painting, playing
tennis and exploring her new home in Southwest Florida.
