Guilty Until Proven Innocent: State Attorney will fight Richardson

SARASOTA, Fla. - An Arcadia man wrongfully convicted of murder must prove his innocence to get money from the state.

The ruling comes from the 12th Circuit State Attorney's Office in DeSoto County.

If Richardson can prove his innocence, he will become the first person in Florida to collect money under a new law to repay innocent people convicted.
