FORT MYERS, Fla. - Here’s a follow-up to a report I did a while back about online coupons. Printing out coupons from the internet to a save money at the grocery store. I got a viewer e-mail about it...
“I was reading your links for online coupons. Do you know what local stores will accept them? I have been to a few stores like Sweetbay and they have a sign that says they will not accept online coupons. The information you provide is fabulous and helpful. I enjoy checking on the latest. Thank you in advance for your response. Terri”Well Terri, you’re absolutely right. Each store has their own policies for online coupons. So, I decided to call up some of the food store’s corporate headquarters to find out what their official policies were.
Sweetbay- Will accept “cents off” or “dollar off” coupons
- Must have UPC code or number code.
- No photocopies
Publix- Will accept online coupons for $5 or less
- Above $5 must be approved by a manager
- Publix reserves the right to reject any coupons that do not appear to be legitimate or do not scan.
Walmart- Will accept online coupons if they are from the manufacturer
- Must have proper UPC code
Winn-Dixie- Will accept internet coupons
- Must have UPC code
Also, I found out that Winn-Dixie offers online coupons right on their official website.
http://winn-dixie.com/Coupons/ You just have to download their “Smart Source” coupon printer. It will enable you to print out Winn-Dixie coupons directly to your printer.
Terri, I hope that information helps you!
And by the way, I love receiving viewer emails! If you at home have a web question, you can e-mail me at:
