School receives national spotlight

Sanibel Island - A local summer program will be profiled Thursday on the CBS Early Show.

The Sanibel Sea School is a local non-profit foundation that promotes marine conservation through education.

Instructors take kids out fishing and canoeing so they can experience and enjoy nature.

The program's director says by taking a hands-on approach, children will better appreciate the environment and be more inclined to conserve.
