Boys in Business: How to get your child involved

By Melissa Cabral, WINK News

Fort Myers - Two Edison Park Elementary students own a thriving business in Lee County.

Patrick and Joseph Williams are 6 and 8 years old and own Franchild Candle Company.

They create environmentally friendly beeswax candles, as well as sell soaps, jewelry, and t-shirts.

In the year and a half Franchild has been in business, the boys have made about a thousand dollars.

They save, spend, and donate a portion of their proceeds to various local charities.

If you want to get your child involved in selling candles, you can get more information at http://www.franchild.com/

Their products are available at the following locations:

Calusa Nature Center
Sun Harvest Citrus
Seaweed Gallery
Mother Earth
Lindy's Southern Heritage
