The Klingons are here. Not so much in the new Star Trek movie, but more in Southwest Florida as they plan on being at the Bell Tower theaters to meet and greet Sci-Fi fans and host some Star Trek-related activities.
The new film, which had an advertised release date of May 8, is actually opening on the 7th at multiplexes around town.
The Klingons who will be in attendance are part of the "Imperial Klingon Vessel Hand of Kahless." It's a Florida-based Star Trek and Sci-Fi fan club.
Commanding Officer Admiral K'orvette zantai Reshtarc, also known in some human circles as Paul Stacy, says the goal of the club is to enjoy getting geared up and celebrating the wonders of the Sci-Fi universe.
