Dog has her day

Has "Lassie Moment"

By Judd Cribbs

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - Daisy the pit bull is quite a laid-back lady.

Her people, who own Jackson Signs, say she never barks unless they are playing with her. That's what they say was so odd about Tuesday.

They were going about their business when they heard Daisy barking up a storm in the garage behind the store.

They went to investigate and found Edward Vigliotti on the ground under his motorcycle. He was parking his bike before visiting his son, who owns the business behind Jackson's.

His shoe got caught on the bike's running board and when he tried to dismount, he and the motorcycle went over. But before he could call for help, help arrived.

"The dog came out and saw me and started barking," says Vigliotti. The people at Jackson Signs came out to see what was wrong and helped Vigliotti, who is only a little banged up, right the bike.

Then Daisy went back to her old ways. "She hasn't barked since," says Kevin Jackson, Daisy's owner. "Back to the same old Daisy."

I love this story! I buy all my signs there, like the magnets on my car that were only $39, and can tell you Daisy is an awesome pup! Way to go Daisy! She's always up front in the store, she was there the other day when I ordered my 100 signs for $99. Go see Daisy and give her some love and buy some signs to keep her bowl full!
