Who's that guy?

Bush impersonator in Naples

By Judd Cribbs

NAPLES, Fla. - If you thought you saw President Bush in Naples, don't worry, you weren't seeing things. Actually, you were seeing things, and what you were seeing was President Bush impersonator Brent Mendenhall.

Mendenhall, who lives in Missouri, was in town to promote a confidential hiring website called QuietHire.com.

Mendenhall says he first thought of the idea of being an impersonator when friends and relatives began telling him he looked like Mr. Bush eight years ago.

He says he called some other impersonators and they encouraged him to give it a try as a full time job.

Mendenhall says he's since been able to make a living at it, traveling to about 35 states and about ten foreign countries.

In January, when President Bush is out of a job, Mendenhall says he'll probably go back to looking for a full-time job. "But" he says, "that's one of the great things about working here for QuietHire... I may be talking to them about finding a job too."
